New Housing Project for a Needy Famil

Under the guidance of Lieutenant General H.L.V.M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG), a new house was erected by the troops of SLNG for the family of deceased Lance Corporal G.D Kumarasinghe of 12 SLNG on 30 June 2024 at Kongolla, Bibile.

The new house was vested in the beneficiary during a brief ceremony by the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) and the Chairperson of the SLNG Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB), Mrs. Janaki Liyanage. Necessary electrical appliances were also handed over to the beneficiary by the President of ASVU.

Senior members of the SLNG-SVB, the Centre Commandant of SLNG, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
