SLACAL - SVB Organizes Donation for Deserving Children on Poson Poya Day

On account of Poson Full Moon Poya Day (21 June 2024), Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL - SVB) organized a stationary donation for 20 deserving primary school children of the Other Ranks serving in the 4 (V) Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Unit with the aim to support their education. Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of SLACAL - SVB supervised the charity programme.

After a short while, a delicious lunch treat was offered for the soldiers and their families and Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of SLACAL - SVB also interacted with them. Later, Chairperson of SLACAL - SVB conducted a meeting at the Battalion headquarters, including a visit and a discussion at chutney factory for product portfolio expansion.

Members of the SLACAL - SVB, the Centre Commandant & Senior Officers participated in this excursion.
