Seeni Sambol and Bread Dansala from ASVU on Accounts of Poson Poya Day

Under the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), Seeni Sambol and Bread Dansala (free giveaway) was successfully held on 23 June 2024, adjacent to the Commander’s House in Colombo 05.

The event was inaugurated in the evening by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army, together with the President of ASVU. The Commander of the Army and President of ASVU distributed Seeni Sambol and Bread to participants who attended the dansala, symbolizing a gesture of community service.

The initiative to aimed to foster a spirit of unity and support within the community while embodying the values of generosity and inclusivity.
