As per the concept of the Chairperson of Commando Regiment - Seva Vanitha Branch (CR - SVB), Mrs.Nimali Ranatunga, an ice cream dansal program was organized at Commando Regiment, Ganemulla in line with the Vesak festival on 26 May 2024.
The event was organized under the guidance of Major General P.G.P.S Rathnayaka RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment of the Commando Regiment under the close supervision of Brigadier B.M.S.K.K Dharmawardena RWP RSP USP, the Centre Commandant of the Commando Regiment.
A large number of civilians living around the area attended the dansala. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this charity event.
