SLACAL-SVB Leads Vesak Festival Initiatives with Dansal and Shramadana Campaigns

Under the direction of the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL - SVB), Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, several dansal and community programmes were conducted at different locations coinciding with the Vesak festival.

Accordingly, 1 SLACAL held a Belimal Dansala on 23 May 2024, providing traditional herbal tea to the public. Additionally, 4 (V) SLACAL organised a Shramadana campaign on 21 May 2024 at the Cheddikulam Government Hospital, focusing on cleaning and maintenance activities. Furthermore, 4 (V) SLACAL hosted a cassava dansala on 23 May 2024, distributing cassava dishes to attendees.
