Under the guidance of Logistics Commander - Security Forces - Jaffna and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corp(SLAOC), Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO and supervision of the Chairperson of SLAOC - Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Iresha Fernando, dansal programmes were organized at multiple locations to celebrate the Vesak festival on 23 May 2024.
The dansals took place at Dobagoda junction, Tissa Viharaya Jaffna, Veyangoda Army Clothing Depot and Panagoda Army Temple. The offerings included belimal drinks, cool drinks, jackfruit and coriander drinks, enhancing the festive spirit for all participants.
Senior Officers, their spouses, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this charity event.
