ASVU Conducts Vesak Festival Dansala

Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu and the supervision of the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, a rice and ice cream dansala (free giveaway) was organized on 24 May 2024 at the entrance of the Diyawanna Vesak Zone, coinciding with the Vesak festival.

The Commander of the Army, along with the President of the ASVU, inaugurated the rice dansala in the afternoon by distributing rice packets to participants. In the evening, rice packets and ice cream dansala was held and the President of the ASVU initiating the distribution of rice packets and ice cream to attendees.

Senior Officers, their spouses, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this charity event.
