Following an initiative taken by Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC - SVB), pregnant lady soldiers in the 7 SLAWC received basic maternity essentials and dry ration packs on 14 May 2024.
The event was supervised by Major M.P Sinharage, Commanding Officer of 7 SLAWC, aimed to offer support to pregnant lady soldiers.
Members of SLAWC - SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
