SLAWC - SVB Distributes Dry Ration and Essentials for Pregnant Female Soldiers

Following the conceptual notion and guidance of the Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps – Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC-SVB) organized a distribution of essentials including baby items and dry ration packs to pregnant female soldiers performing duties in the Regimental Centre and 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on 02 May 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Borella.

Mrs. Idunil Jayakody, Vice President, SLAWC-SVB warmly welcomed Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC- SVB who graced the event as the chief guest. Each female soldier accordingly received the essential items worth of Rs. 8000.00. 16 pregnant female soldiers serving at Regimental Centre, SLAWC and 1 SLAWC benefited from the programme.

Brigadier J.K.R Jayakodi RWP USP, Centre Commandant of SLAWC, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
