SLACAL – SVB Donates Spectacles Among Civilians in Karandeniya

2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL – SVB) organized a donation of spectacles on 06 May 2024 at the Regimental Headquarter auditorium in Karandeniya.

Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, SLACAL – SVB graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed 200 spectacles among the beneficiaries. The initiative was launched with an objective to improve the lives of the low income residents in Karandeniya

Lieutenant Colonel S.D.D Rasika Kumara psc, Commanding Officer of 2 (V) SLACAL together with his spouse were instrumental in organising this significant event.

Mrs. L Perera and serving members of SLACAL extended the much- required financial generosity and Dr. Anura Gunathilake extended the ophthalmology support while Mrs. Anomi Gunasekara & Mrs.R Damayanthi assisted in implementing this programme successfully.
