ASVU Distributes Relief Packs to Security Forces Personnel and Civil Employees in Jaffna and East

Following the conceptual layout of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of Army, with the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) dry rations packs and essential food items were distributed among Other Ranks and civil employees serving at Security Forces - Jaffna and Security Forces - East yesterday (08 May 2024) at the Army Seva Vanitha Office, Army Headquarters.

Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, the President, ASVU graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed those relief packs among the beneficiaries. ASVU organized the donation programme, aiming to alleviate the economic burdens of the dedicated personnel serving in Security Forces - Jaffna and Security Forces -East. A total of 200 Other Ranks and civil employees benefited from this thoughtful endeavor.
