Sinhala and Hindu New Year Tea Party Celebrated at ASVU

In conforming to the preserved traditions, an All-Rank tea party was held at Army Headquarters on 17 April 2024, to mark the dawn of Sinhala Hindu New Year. Sweetmeats and special traditional dishes adorned the tea party reassuring the essential facet of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivity.

Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, the President, of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) conveyed the Sinhala and Tamil New Year wishes to all Officers, Other Ranks, and members of the civil staff of ASVU. During the tea arrangement, the President engaged in a cordial conversation with the staff of ASVU.
