ASVU President Supports SERRIC to Arrange a Special New Year Festival for Children with Special Needs

Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, the President of Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), donated a financial grant of Rs. 100,000.00 on 09 April 2024 to the Senehasa Education Resource Research and Information Centre (SERRIC) to arrange a special New Year Festival for children with special needs.

SERRIC is functioning under Ministry of Defence and Ranaviru Seva Authority to provide essential services to children with special needs belonging to families of the Tri-forces, Police and the Civil Security Department personnel. Currently, SERRIC caters to the wellbeing and development of 102 children with special needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care.

Brigadier G.G.R Madugoda USP, Director of SERRIC and Brigadier Coordinating, ASVU were present at the event.
