ASVU Distributes Dry Ration Packs for Army and Civil Personnel in 54 Infantry Division

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Army along with Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), visited the 54 Infantry Division on 29 March 2024.

During the visit, the Commander and President, AVSU, presented 100 dry ration packs for Army and Civil personnel of 54 Infantry Division, facilitated by the ASVU.

At the conclusion of the event, the Commander of the Army exchanged mementos with the Commander of the 542 Infantry Brigade. Furthermore, mementos were exchanged between the President of AVSU and Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch. Before his departure, the Commander penned some complimentary remarks in the visitor's book.

The Commander, Security Forces – Wanni, the Military Secretary, General Officer Commanding, 54 Infantry Division, Senior members of ASVU, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
