The Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) launched a series of donations during its monthly meeting held on 10 March 2024 at the Regimental Centre, SLACAL.
During the event, 31 pregnant mothers from SLACAL families received Cargills gift vouchers, each worth Rs. 10,000.00. Additionally, a daughter of a civil worker who exceptionally performed in the Advanced Level Examination received a cash donation worth of Rs. 50,000.00 for her further education.
Furthermore, another Non-Commissioned Officer received a stock of supplements and sanitary items for his special needs daughter. The event and donations were arranged under the guidance of Mrs. Shehani Fernando, the Chairperson of SLACAL-SVB.
Officers, Other Ranks, and members of SLACAL-SVB participated in the event.
