Annual General Meeting of SLAOC - SVB

The Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC - SVB) was held on the 27 January 2024 at the School of Ordnance, Dombagoda.

Commander, Forward Maintenance Area -North and the Colonel Commandant SLAOC, Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO along with the Chairperson, SLAOC - SVB, Mrs. Iresha Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guests.

Upon arrival, Mrs. Iresha Fernando, the Chairperson, SLAOC-SVB, was warmly welcomed by the members of SLAOC-SVB. The proceedings began with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chairperson, followed by the recitation of the Seva Vanitha Anthem. A moment of silence was observed to pay respects to fallen war heroes.

Afterwards, gift packs were generously donated to 10 civil employees experiencing hardship, while financial assistance was provided to a deserving family in need. Additionally, the newly constructed SLAOC-SVB building was inaugurated by the Colonel Commandant, SLAOC and the Chairperson, SLAOC-SVB.
