ASVU Extends Livelihood Support to Central-based Troops & Civil Employees

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) once again extended its helping hand to alleviate the burning economic difficulties of Army personnel and civil employees serving in under command battalions of the 11 Infantry Division by distributing 100 dry ration packs during a ceremony graced by Mrs Janaki Liyanage, President of ASVU as the Chief Guest.

The event took place at the Central Province auditorium on Thursday (9).

Major General R.M.M Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division, Brigadier K.M.W Bandara RSP, Deputy General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division, Brigadier N.S.S Dias RSP, Brigade Commander, 111 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Coordinating at ASVU, Brigadier N Mahawithana KSP, Senior ASVU members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event. Colonel Coordinating, 11 Infantry Division, delivered the vote of thanks.
