‘Viru Kekulu’ kids at Minneriya staged their annual concert showcasing their talents on Friday (03 Oct) at the Giritalegama Central College.
Mrs Ruveena Mettananda, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) lady responsible for ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school management in Minneriya attended the occasion as the chief guest.
A little girl in the pre-school received the Chief Guest offering a bouquet of flowers on arrival before distinguished invitees joined lighting the traditional oil lamp. Kids afterwards presented their talents and aesthetic skills before the gathering of invitees.
Those kids adding colour to the occasion staged a chain of entertaining features including dances, fun-making items and comical events while providing amusement and relaxation to the spectators.
Mrs Ruveena Mettananda towards the end of the event joined the distribution of incentives to the kids who showed their talents amid roars of applause.
Major General M.W.T.C Mettananda USP ndc, Commander of Forward Maintenance Area - East, Senior Officers, Officers, members of ASVU, dedicated preschool staff, teachers and parents enjoyed the colourful concert.
