SLAWC Soldiers Educated on Breast Cancer

Captain (Dr) L.A.D.G Chandrasiri, a Gynecologist and Obstetrician based in Army Base Hospital - Colombo, delivered an enriching lecture on ‘Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer’. This insightful session was held at the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) Regimental Centre in Borella on Monday (23 October).

Invited and guided by Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Unit, the lecture drew the participation of all Officers and Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.

Dr. Chandrasiri's expertise and the proactive engagement of the attendees undoubtedly contributed to a significant and informative session focusing on women’s health and the critical issues surrounding breast and cervical cancer.
