The 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (SLEME) was held with the participation of its Chairperson, Mrs.Nandani Samarakoone as the Chief Guest at the SLEME Officers' Mess in the SLEME Regimental Center on 26 September 2023.
Accordingly, former Chairpersons of the SLEME Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Chandrika Perera and Mrs Priyadharshani Sirinaga and several other senior members of the Seva Vanitha participated in the Annual General Meeting. Moreover, this occasion was also graced with the participation of Major General S.P.A.I.M.B Samarakoone Hdmc Lsc, the Commander of the Logistic Command and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (SLEME) as well as the other Senior Officers.
The positions which are vacant other than the Chairperson position of the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLEME, Vice Chairperson Position of SLEME and Secretary position of SLEME, were filled at this very occasion. In addition, the welfare programmes related to war heroes were also reviewed and discussed for upcoming months of 2023.
