86 kids at Viru Kekulu pre-school at Minneriya managed by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) were entertained to snacks and music on Sunday (2 October) on account of World Children's Day.
The event was organized by Mrs. Ruveena Metthananda representing members of the ASVU as advised by Mrs. Janaki Liyanage President, ASVU.
During the occasion, kids showcased their artistic skills and musical talents, dressed in colourful attire. The pre-school teachers also joined in, adding their contribution to the event. Further, the creative handicrafts crafted by kids were also kept on display.
Major General M.W.T.C Metthananda USP ndc, Commander of Forward Maintenance Area - East (FMA -East), Colonel FMA–East, along with senior officers, officers, and other ranks attended the ceremony.
