The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Unit (SLEME-SVU) organized a special donation programme for pregnant wives of the SLEME Officers and Other Ranks on account of the International Women’s Day at the SLEME Regimental HQ in Colombo 02 on Friday (11).
During this special donation programme, packs of essential items, including dry rations were distributed by Mrs Nandani Samarakoon, Chairperson, SLEME-SVU, together with Major General Indu Samarakoon, Colonel Commandant of the SLEME Regiment and Commander, Army Logistic Command.
A selective group of beneficiaries were invited to receive those incentives considering health grounds.
