The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps - Seva Vanitha Unit (SLAMC-SVU) organized a blood donation programme at Colombo Army Hospital on Tuesday (7).
Over 300 Officers and Other Ranks working at the Colombo Army Hospital volunteered to give blood for the benefit of Army patients and patients at the Colombo National Hospital.
Dr. Namalee Thilakarathna, Vice-Chairperson of SLAMC-SVU and a few senior Seva Vanitha members of SLAMC-SVU participated in the event. Similarly, the SLAMC -SVU gifted T-shirts to all those who volunteered to give blood.
