In parallel with the International Women’s Day, the Military Intelligence Corps - Seva Vanitha Unit (MIC-SVU) organized several projects at MIC Regimental Centre in Karandeniya on Saturday (12).
The day started with a motivational lecture that dwelt on the ‘Role of the Military Wife, Work and Home Balance’, conducted by Mrs. Rajitha Jayasuriya, Vice Chairperson, MIC-SVU. Afterwards, Ms Nawodi Wedikkara of ‘Sleek Bridal Lounge’ Pvt Ltd, conducted a lecture and demonstration on ‘Enhancement of beauty and beauty culture’.
Mrs Manori Sallay, Chairperson of MIC-SVU, Senior members of the MIC-SVU, MIC lady officers and few female Other Ranks participated in the day’s programme.
