The Special Forces - Seva Vanitha Unit (SF-SVU) launched a welfare programme at the SF Regimental HQ at Naula on Friday (24) in order to assist children of SF families and civil staffers.
The donation, sponsored by Mr Madhawa Thenuwara saw more than 50 children of Army families and civil staffers serving the SF Regimental Centre receive those incentives with the dawn of the New Year.
Mrs Priyanthi Ranasinghe, Chairperson, SF-SVU as the Chief Guest of the event gave away those incentives to the children during a simple ceremony.
