Mrs Ruvini Lamahewa assumed duties as the new Chairperson of the Gemunu Watch - Seva Vanitha Unit (GW-SVU) at a ceremony, held at the GW Regimental Centre at Kuruwita on 13 May 2022.
She expressed her gratitude to the former chairperson, Mrs Geetha Athukorala for her invaluable service, rendered during her tenure and requested the same assistance for future roles of the Seva Vanitha Unit.
The new Chairperson was warmly greeted by the members of Seva Vanitha Unit of the Gemunu on arrival at the premises.
Several Senior Officers were also present during the event.
