The Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regimental HQ at Panagoda on 28 May 2022 organized a Dhamma preaching session in order to invoke blessings on the Army, SLLI members and the country and transfer merits to all fallen War Heroes.
Senior Professor at the University of Kelaniya, Venerable (Dr) Induragare Dhammarathana Thera delivered a sermon and recalled the memories of sacrifices and dedicated roles of fallen and serving soldiers of the Army.
Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku, Colonel of the Regiment, SLLI and Deputy Chief of Staff instructed the launch of the project.
Regimental Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Brigadier Krishantha Peiris and the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Mrs Shiromala Kodithuwakku, Staff Officers and Other Ranks were associated with the day's programme.
