The Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB) Chairperson, Mrs Shiromala Kodhithuwakku with SVB members visited the 'Mihindu Seth Medura' in Attidiya on Friday (21) with a view to inquiring into the well-being of wounded war heroes, still under rehabilitation and recuperation.
During the visit, a valuable first aid kit was presented to each of those war heroes at Mihindu Seth Medura by those visiting ladies.
The group, led by Mrs Shiromala Kodhithuwakku entertained the residents by providing a calypso music band in order to make them happier.
Senior SVB members and several officers also joined the project.
