Members of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch ladies visited the ward No 5 of the National Institute of Mental Health at Mulleriyawa on a suggestion, made by Mrs Sashika Herath, Chairperson, Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC-SVB) on Friday (Nov 11).
Prior to the visit, SLSC-SVB ladies spent about Rs. 30,000 /= and carried essential repairs of hospital furniture and replacements in the ward and completely cleaned the ward building with the help of Signal troops.
During the visit, a delicious lunch was served to the hospital inmates. The evening concluded with a simple musical session.
