The Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB) and Senior members, headed by Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara, Chairperson, SLSC-SVB visited the ‘Abimansala - 2’, wellness resort at Kamburupitiya on Tuesday (04 April). They were welcomed by the Commandant of 'Abimansala - 2' on arrival. The purpose of this visit was to uplift the spirits of differently-able war heroes and look into their well-being.
The wellness resort accommodates differently-able officers/soldiers and provides rehabilitation and therapeutic care.
During the visit, the inmates at the ‘Abimansala-2’ were entertained to delicious tea before gifts were presented to all War Heroes.
