In parallel to the International Women’s day, the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps - Seva Vanitha Unit (SLAC – SVU) donated six sewing machines to 6 selected soldiers' families of 6th (RFT) Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and Armoured Corps Training Center on 09 March at Rock House auditorium in Modera.
The project was initiated to uplift the standard of soldiers' families with the financial support of the SLAC – SVU.
Dr (Mrs) Harshani Bothota, Chairperson SLAC – SVU, Mrs Wasanthi Pathiratana, Senior Member of SLAC – SVU, Mrs. Chamila Wijerathne Senior Member of SLAC – SVU , beneficiaries and Other Ranks attended the event.
