PASSING OUT PARADE OF PHYSICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTORS, SWIMMING INSTRUCTORS AND AWARDING OF NVQ LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATES

Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP the Commander Security Forces West and Colonel of the Regiment - Mechanized Infantry Regiment graced the passing out parade of Physical Training Instructor’s, Swimming Instructor’s and awarding of NVQ Level 4 certificate for the 3rd batch as the chief guest held on Friday 30 December 2022 at Army Indoor Stadium, Army Cantonment, Panagoda.

12 x Officers participated for Officers’ Physical Training Instructor Course No 14 which conducted for 77 days. O/71067 Capt PHAV Hewagama VIR secured the 1st in order of merit as the Best Student and received award as Best Gymnast, O/71105 Capt AGSD Godage SLSR was received award as Best Endurance of Officer’s Physical Training Instructor Course.

33 x ORs participated for Advance Physical Training Instructor Course No 44 which conducted for 65 days. S/485336 L/Cpl Bandara AAAS (GR) secured the 1st in order of merit as the Best Student of the course, S/287038 L/Cpl Maduwanthi JKCS (SLSC) was received Best Female tudent of the course, S/681425 L/Cpl Harischandra GGIK (SLCMP) was received award as Best Gymnast of the Course, S/332866 Cpl Premarathna MWRS (SF) was received award as Best Endurance of the Course and S/H100483 L/Cpl Bandara JSSK (VIR) was received award as Best Section Command of Advance Physical Training Instructor Course.

180 x ORs participated for Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course No 127 which conducted for 52 days. S/ 332917 Cpl Bandara ERDN (SF) secured the 1st in order of merit as the Best Male Student of the course, S/E102375 Rfm Dayarathna WMCC (SLSR) was received award as Best Gymnast of the Course, S/ 101353 Cpl Dilshan GWM (SF) was received award as Best Endurance of the Course and S/484089 L/Cpl Rathnayaka RMJ (GR) was received award as Best Section Command of Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course.

10 x ORs participated for Swimming Instructor Course No 25 which conducted for 48 days. S/556478 Cpl Thilakarathna THS (CR) secured the 1st in order of merit as the Best Student of the Course.
