Major General CD Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu the Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel of the Regiment – Mechanized Infantry Regiment graced the Passing Out Parade of Physical Training Instructors and awarding of NVQ Level 4 certificate for the 3rd batch as the chief guest held on Friday 09th September 2022 at Army Indoor Stadium - Panagoda.

164 ORs participated for Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course No 126 which was conducted for 63 days (from 10.06.2022 to 09.09.2022). S/726056 Pte Dilhara RMK (SLAWC) secured the 1st in order of merit as the best female student of the course and S/434170 L/Cpl Dayananda WGAS (SF) secured the 1st in order of merit as the best male student of the course, S/Q 113905 Pte Hettiarachchi HAKRM (SLNG) was received award as Best Gymnast of Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course, S/Q 108747 Pte Herath SSAHM (SLNG) was received award as Best Endurance and S/557348 Cpl Sampath WK (CR) was received award as Best Section Command of Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course.
