SLSR Distributes School Exercise Books to School Children

In a meaningful gesture of support for the children of officers and other ranks of the regiment, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized a special program in conjunction with its Annual Commemoration Ceremony. The initiative, aimed at distributing school exercise books to 2,748 children of officers and other ranks, was carried out at the Regimental Center under the guidance of Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, and Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, President of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch on 29 December 2024, exercise books were symbolically presented to 30 children, with plans for further distribution to the remaining students. A total of Rs. 2.5 million was allocated for this charitable endeavor.
