Coinciding with Poson Poya Day and following an initiative taken by Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR - SVB), 67 pregnant spouses of Officers and Other Ranks received basic maternity essentials on 21 June 2024.
During the event, milk packets sufficient for six months were donated to a soldier whose wife recently delivered triplets, providing much-needed support to the family.
Members of SLSR - SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
