On 23 December 2024, 14 Newly passed out officers were warmly welcomed by Brigadier C S Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, by the instructions of Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
During the session, the Centre Commandant provided a comprehensive briefing, offering the new officers an overview of the esteemed Regiment. Following the briefing, the new officers were presented with Regimental pattern welcome packs, symbolizing their formal integration into the prestigious Regiment. They were then served refreshments and had the opportunity to engage in discussions with the Regimental Officers.
Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers and Officers of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment participated to the event.
