SLSR - SVB CONDUCTS A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a scholarship programme under the guidance of Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of SLSR-SVB on 30 August 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

Major General JKR Jayakody RWP USP, Deputy Commander SFHQ (W) and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR, graced the event as the chief guest.

During the ceremony, scholarships worth Rs. 300,000.00 were awarded to 17 students. Among them, five students who scored above 165 marks in the 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, seven students who obtained 9 A’s at the GCE (O/L) Examination, and five students who qualified for university entrance through the GCE (A/L) Examination were recognized with scholarships

Members of SLSR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and other Ranks participated in the programme.
