In line with a concept initiated by Mrs. Idunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, a serene and spiritually uplifting Dhamma Discourse was held on 17 May 2025 at the Regimental Centre. The event was conducted under the patronage of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Rohan Jayakody, in honor of the Vesak Pura Pasaloswaka Poya Day.
The discourse was delivered by the renowned Dhamma speaker, Venerable Padalangala Dhammadeva Thero, incumbent of Athurugiriya Seevali Asapuwa Viharaya, offering valuable spiritual insights and blessings to the gathered war heroes.
Approximately 300 participants, including Centre Commandant, senior officers, officers, other ranks, and members of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch, attended the event.
As a gesture of goodwill, the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch made a financial donation during the event for the continued development and welfare of the temple.
