Chief of Staff Inaugurates a New House for a Needy Family in Kandy

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, a special initiative was undertaken by the Chief of Staff Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu under the guidance of the Commander of the Sri anka Army. This initiative conducted and Overseen by Brigadier C S Thibbotuge Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and executed by Lieutenant Colonel EJBUP Egodagedara USP psc Commanding Officer of the 6th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment the project involved all units of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

As part of this endeavor, the housing project was constructed to aim of elevating the family's quality of life of Mr. Upul Chandrasiri in residents of No. 87, Hapana village in the Kandy district. The new home was presented to Mr. Chandrasiri by The Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu on 09th November 2024 commemorating the Sri Lanka Army 75th Anniversary.
