20 SLSR Celebrates its 16th Anniversary

The 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) celebrated its 16th anniversary on 22 October 2024 with a series of events under the guidance of Major D.M.P. Suraweera RSP, Commanding Officer of the 20 SLSR, at the Battalion Headquarters in Katharagama.

The celebrations commenced with a Guard Turnout and a Battalion parade by SLSR troops in honour of the Commanding Officer. Following this, the Commanding Officer attended the All Ranks tea. He then planted a sapling on the camp premises, which was followed by an All Ranks lunch. As part of the anniversary events, a religious event was conducted on the same day at Katharagama Kiri Wehera.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
