1 SLSR Ruggerites Emerge Winners

The 2024 Inter-Battalion Rugby Competition, hosted by the 4th Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, took place at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Ambepussa on 22 April 2024.

The championship was won by the team from the 1st Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, while the Runners-up position was claimed by the team representing the 11th (Volunteer) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in the competition and 2/Lt IGIK Weerasinghe (1 SLSR) emerged as the Best Player.

Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment graced the occasion as the chief guest. Further, Senior Officers and Officers from Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment witnessed the Competition.
