1 Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Commanding Officer Assumes Duties

Major M.A.N.C Wickramasinghe RWP RSP USP psc, assumed duties as the 35th Commanding Officer of 1 Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 11 November 2024.

At the beginning of the day's agenda, the newly appointed Commanding Officer was honored with a guard turnout, after which the senior officer signed the official document in his office after the religious blessings.

The senior officer was invited to plant a sapling to mark the special occasion. Afterwards, the newly appointed Commanding Officer shared his thoughts and views during the troop address. The event came to the end with an all-ranks tea party.
