The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 1st November 2025, at the Regimental Centre SLNG. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of SLNG-SVB.
The proceedings began with a one-minute silence in honor of the war heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland. The Chairperson then outlined future projects planned for implementation, emphasizing the importance of dedication in achieving success.
A key highlight of the meeting was the appointment of a new Committee for the upcoming year. Responsibilities were formally handed over to unit representatives, with monthly targets set for each event. The Chairperson provided guidance on annual activities, stressing the need for commitment and teamwork.
The meeting demonstrated the branch's commitment to welfare and community service, aligning with the noble objectives of the SLNG-SVB. The newly appointed Committee is expected to drive these initiatives forward, fostering a spirit of service and camaraderie among members.

The SLNG-SVB AGM served as a platform for members to come together, reaffirm their commitment to service, and work towards the betterment of their community.
