A soldier of the 14th Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) has brought pride and recognition to the Regiment by establishing multiple Serendib World Records under the supervision of the Serendib World Records Committee.
Private Rajapaksha R K P A RK (S/Q116561) successfully achieved these remarkable feats on 21 March 2026 at the Padawiya Public Playground. His exceptional physical strength, determination and unique skills were demonstrated through a series of challenging performances.
The Serendib World Records established are as follows.
Peeling 4 coconuts using the teeth within 1 minute.
Peeling 10 coconuts using the teeth within 3 minutes.
Lifting a weight of 80 kilograms using the teeth.
In recognition of these outstanding accomplishments, the Serendib World Records Committee awarded him official certificates and trophies at the event. This achievement highlights the high standards of physical endurance, courage and discipline maintained by members of the Sri Lanka National Guard. It also reflects the commitment of SLNG personnel to excellence in both military duties and personal development.
