Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG - SVB) conducted a series of community welfare initiatives for the month of June 2025, under the guidance of Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, Chairperson of the SLNG - SVB. As part of the programme, milk tea was distributed to 1,500 students of a school under the Western Zonal Education Office, with the aim of improving their nutrition. The initiative was carried out with the participation of 10 SLNG troops.
In addition, drugs worth Rs. 70,000.00 were donated to Apeksha Hospital, and financial assistance was provided to purchase medicines for three patients receiving residential treatment. Senior members of the SLNG - SVB also took part in the event.
