The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) hosted a farewell ceremony in honor of the former Chairperson, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, at the officers’ mess of the RC SLNG on 08 February 2025.
The event, organized under the guidance of the current chairperson, Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, commenced with a dance performance which added a vibrant tone to the occasion. A special presentation highlighted Mrs. Liyanage’s dedicated service and contribution to the organization. The ceremony included a heartfelt welcome speech, the signing of the visitor’s book by Mrs. Liyanage, and an entertainment segment. As a token of appreciation, Mrs. Pathiravithana presented a souvenir to Mrs. Liyanage, with members of the Seva Vanitha Branch joining in to extend their gratitude.
Formal proceedings were followed by a fellowship and luncheon. The event concluded with expressions of thanks and appreciation to all members for their valuable participation and for making it a memorable occasion in honor of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage’s service.
