The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB-SLNG) donated 20 hospital beds to the Male Surgical Patient Ward of Dambadeniya Base Hospital on 01 February 2026, addressing an urgent requirement of the hospital.
The beds were formally handed over by the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Janaka Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, together with the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch - SLNG, Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, to the Director of Dambadeniya Base Hospital, Dr. Amila Maduragoda, in the presence of senior officers of the Sri Lanka National Guard.
This donation highlights the Seva Vanitha Branch - SLNG’s commitment to supporting national healthcare services and strengthening civil-military cooperation in the interest of community welfare.
