MEDAL ACHIEVEMENT – 13TH DEFENCE SERVICES KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

The 13th Defence Services Karate Championship 2025 was successfully held from 4th to 5th August 2025 at the Army Physical Training School (APTS) in Panagoda.

Representing the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) as member of the Sri Lanka Army Karate pool, the following soldiers showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination at the championship. Their remarkable performances earned the Regiment an impressive tally of two gold medals and two silver medals:

Gold Medal Winners:

Staff Sergeant Bandara (18 SLNG) – Below 55 kg Category

Lance Corporal Priyadarshana (19 SLNG) – Below 50 kg Category

Silver Medal Winner:

Corporal Pushpakumara (14 SLNG) – Below 50 kg Category
