A special donation programme was successfully conducted on 20th October 2025 by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard, with the noble intention of extending support to S/Q100621 L/Cpl Kumara SMPR and his family, in appreciation of their six-month-old twin infants at Attanakadawala.
As part of this welfare initiative, essential baby milk powder was donated to the family, and this assistance will continue for a period of three months. In addition, dry rations and several essential baby items were also presented. This timely and generous contribution will greatly assist in ensuring the health, nutrition, and overall well-being of the infants during this crucial stage of their development.
The event was graced by the presence of the Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka National Guard, along with Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – Sri Lanka National Guard. Their presence brought added warmth and significance to this meaningful occasion.
