Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, The Commandant (Overlooking) of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) made an official visit to the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka National Guard on 05th February 2025.
Upon his arrival to the Regimental Center, placed a floral wreath at the war heroes’ monument of the Sri Lanka National Guard. The Commandant of the SLAVF was accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance of Heraliyawala camp and welcomed by the Centre Commandant Brigadier NHJ Mangala. Later a glamorous parade was accorded for The Commandant of the SLAVF and planted a tree sapling at the premises of the same venue. Afterwards, he followed by a troops address at the Heraliyawala camp and was accompanied to a tea held in his honour where he had cordial interaction with the gathering.
Council members, Senior Officers and officers of the Sri Lanka National Guard were also associated with the event.
